On the 7th of October 2020, Stenden South Africa hosted a graduation ceremony under the trees for twenty working class youths from Helenvale, Port Elizabeth. The ‘students’ had the opportunity to complete the following courses and improve their lifeskills:

  1. Advanced Cooking Course
  2. Driver’s License Testing
  3. Windows Office Suite Training
  4. Outdoor Adventure Skills Training

The students fared extremely well and all of the core outcomes were reached.  Dr. Wouter Hensens, the Executive Dean of Stenden South Africa was the guest speaker and gave a very motivating and humbling speech to the youths and their families which in turn left them hopeful for their futures.
