Mr. Chipumuro studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, for a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). He completed his studies with Azaliah University in 2002 and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He then graduated with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Education Management with Technikon Pretoria, now the Tshwane University of Technology. He also holds a Diploma in Education, majoring in Mathematics from the University of Zimbabwe, after completing an Advanced Level Certificate in Mathematics and Accounting.
Mr. Chipumuro joined Stenden South Africa in February 2016. Previously he worked at the Department of Education, assisting with Mathematics and Physical Science teaching at various coastal schools for three years. He also worked for three years as Human Resources and Marketing Manager for 43 Air School. Prior to that, he was Dean of the Faculty of Management and Information Technology with the Women’s University in Africa, based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Mr. Chipumuro was a prominent part-time lecturer for CACC Learning Zimbabwe Institute in Corporate Finance, Marketing, Strategic Management and Research Methods. He has taught as an approved IMM Lecturer for the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) at both Jeppe College of Commerce, as well as at Computers Pretoria South Africa.
Currently, he holds the position of Senior Lecturer in the School of Disaster Management at Stenden South Africa, lecturing 1st Year Research, 2nd Year Research and Logistics, and 3rd Year Research. This includes Managing Climate Change, Strategic Management, and Finance Management.
